I just purchased the last two tickets to the Shakespeare Tavern's production of Faust. Weird seeing it go from "Hurry, Limited Seating" to "Sold Out" when I clicked purchase. Definitely means starlancer, earendel and I will have to arrive at least an hour early. The $12 shows are general admission. An hour also gives us time to have dinner.

I can't remember when Shakespeare Tavern last did Doctor Faustus. It hasn't been in the past five years. I don't know how much further back it was. Anyway, it received great reviews. They have props coming down from the ceiling and other special effects. If I remember correctly one is a large, and I mean large, mask that travels from the top of the house down to the stage. I wanted to see Faust then but didn't have the chance. I am looking forward to it now.
