Faust on Friday

I just purchased the last two tickets to the Shakespeare Tavern's production of Faust. Weird seeing it go from "Hurry, Limited Seating" to "Sold Out" when I clicked purchase. Definitely means [info]starlancer, [info]earendel and I will have to arrive at least an hour early. The $12 shows are general admission. An hour also gives us time to have dinner.

I can't remember when Shakespeare Tavern last did Doctor Faustus. It hasn't been in the past five years. I don't know how much further back it was. Anyway, it received great reviews. They have props coming down from the ceiling and other special effects. If I remember correctly one is a large, and I mean large, mask that travels from the top of the house down to the stage. I wanted to see Faust then but didn't have the chance. I am looking forward to it now.

We're going next Friday. Do you and [info]earendel go often? We've been going regularly since last year. We try to see every production they do. We missed Antony and Cleopatra, and decided to skip Mice and Men, but we've seen everything else in the past 2 seasons.

Shakesphere tavern.
Not that often, but part of that is we really haven't had anyone to go with. Be more fun with a group.
